We visited the home of Jim Thompson, the man credited with developing the Thai silk industry to what it is today. The house and gardens were beautiful and the house itself was a great example of Thai architecture with a mix of western influences. Thompson was also an avid collector of art and sculptures and many of the pieces in the home were several hundred years old.
